FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Rita Case, president, CEO and owner of Rick Case Automotive Group, has been named the Broward County Police Benevolent Association’s 2026 Humanitarian of the Year.

NORTH LAUDERDALE, FLA. - For many families across South Florida, the dream of owning a home feels out of reach. But for eight families in North Lauderdale, that dream has become a reality after they took part in building it with their own hands.

The shoe giveaway through Soles4Souls Inc. gave away 500 shoes to Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls youth and 1,000 Bombas socks Monday afternoon at the Lola and Duane Hagadone Boys and Girls Club of Kootenai County.  

HOLLYWOOD, FLA. - Several local Hyundai dealerships teamed up to donate $100,000 to help a children’s hospital’s fight against cancer.

The Genesis Inspiration Foundation and local Genesis automobile dealerships have donated $75,000 to two Broward County-based nonprofit organizations.
